Keep Nature Wild

Help Keep Nature Wild!

Spending time in Baja, it’s easy to fall in love with the beautiful panoramic views, turquoise ocean and bright blue skies. But I’ll be honest — not all of the views are amazing like the one pictured here in Laguna de San Ignacio. ? There is a LOT of garbage littering the land, which has only emphasized to us how important it is to be a friend to the wild. We MUST leave the outdoors better than we found it! We should care for our wild spaces and do our part. I have to admit, here in Mexico where is no infrastructure for trash, it can feel overwhelming. What will become of these oceanside views if there isn’t a solution in place?

As a family, we’re honored to have recently become ambassadors — aka “Wild Keepers” for Keep Nature Wild. ?♻️ If you’ve been following our travels for awhile, you know that it’s been absolutely imperative that we teach our sons the value and responsibility of keeping our Earth clean. Imagine if every single person on this planet became a steward of the land, doing his or her part to leave no trace? The impact would be astounding!

Keep Nature Wild has been advocating for this since 2016. For every product sold, the company physically picks up one pound of trash — and has enlisted countless volunteers to do the same. To date, this organization has picked up 297,716 pounds of garbage to date!

Wanna do your part? First, any time is a good time to collect trash you come across on the ground. We even keep extra bags on hand, especially on the trail or at the beach. Additionally, you can buy some rad gear from Keep Nature Wild to help as well. Just use our code WKAFRIENDS20 for 20% off at keepnaturewild.com!
