Meet the Nascimento Family

Well, hello there! Welcome to our humble little website. Collectively, we’re the Nascimento fam! We love to seek adventure, whether it be exploring all that nature has to offer, relaxing our toes in the sand on a beautiful beach, or immersing ourselves in a new city. Individually, here’s a little bit about each of us:

Steven is our CEO – Chief Exploration Officer, naturally. When he’s not advocating for California’s special districts at his FT gig, you can find Steven combing through the depths of YouTube to find the latest and greatest gear reviews, or planning his next great hike. Dad’s in charge of our travels, and is the master planner when it comes to overnight stays, itineraries and gear checklists. Legit though, Steven is the rock that keeps us all sane!

Alexis is our CFO – Chief Fun Officer, that is! From dance parties to kitchen karaoke, Mom’s all about a good time. When she’s not building playlists for road trips, she loves to curl into a good book or dig into a podcast on her daily walks with Ruby girl (see below). During the week, Alexis leads the digital strategy for the largest family-owned winery in the world.

 Levi is our family entertainer, keeping us belly-laughing with his songs and dance. A natural artist, this kiddo is known for capturing our adventures via crayon or marker. Levi’s new favorite hobby is family photographer. Strike a pose!

Harvey is our negotiator and resident cuddlebug. The babe of the family, he’s used to calling the shots. Harvey loves all things dinosaurs, and more recently, Johnny Cash. Love, is a burning flame…

Our Furry Fam is comprised of Ruby and Lola. Our kitty Lola has been with us for a couple of years, but unfortunately doesn’t travel with us. (She makes a great guard kitty.) While we’re not exactly sure of her heritage, Ruby is our ride-or-die shelter pup. We rescued her about eight or so years ago from a local shelter. She’s ALWAYS down for exploring!

The Beast is what is affectionately known as our van. In 2017, we traded in our family SUV for a Mercedes Sprinter, and haven’t looked back since!
