There are few places better than Mexico, in my opinion – and the island of Holbox confirms this. Recently I won a chance to join a women’s photography retreat with Into the Wild Photo Camp to this gorgeous isla. (I know – pinch me!) We spent six days exploring Holbox, eating and drinking the local fare, enjoying the island vibes, and discovering our inner wild women!
Our RV Buying Guide: From Van Life to Airstream
When we decided to transition from van life to a bigger home on wheels, we found a ton of online resources to aid us in our search. We knew we wanted a travel trailer, but narrowing down the exact length, make, model, etc. was like finding a needle in a haystack. While we knew van life inside and out, finding the right RV had us scratching our heads. When we asked around, it seemed like everyone had an opinion or recommendation.
One Week in San Diego? Here’s What to Do!
Pssst... we have a confession to make. As life-long Californians, can you believe that we haven't ever spent much time in San Diego? I know, I know. We've been missing out! So when we asked our oldest son Levi what he wanted to do for his birthday, his only ask was to visit a zoo. Steven and I talked it over, and decided that it was time to take the kids to the best zoo in the United States (and maybe even the world?!). And because there's so much to see and do in San Diego, we gave ourselves a week to camp, hand and explore this sunny Southern California…
Cover New Ground with OutdoorMaster’s Electric Skateboard
As a van family, we've always considered getting an eBike or OneWheel to aid in one of us getting to another location without having to move the van. However, the price and size of these always prohibited us from moving forward on the purchase. Recently, our friends at OutdoorMaster came out with an electric skateboard that sounded promising. So when they asked if we wanted to test one out, we were all for it!
10 Best Books to Cuddle Up with This Fall
There's something so refreshing about Fall... maybe it's the crisp air, the changing leaves, or the Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Or maybe it's more opportunities to curl up by the fire (or Airstream heater!) with a good book! It's my favorite time of the year to dig into some new reads, and here are some of the best books I've read so far this Fall.

Take Your Campfire to the Next Level with Tuck-ins S’mores
If there's one thing we love the most about camping, it's sitting by the campfire and enjoying S'mores. There's just something about the combination of graham crackers, gooey marshmallows and melted chocolate that fulfills my sweet tooth every time!
Everything You Need to Know Before Visiting Lee Vining, Calif.
Never heard of Lee Vining? I hadn't either before we set out to explore all aspects of the Eastern Sierras! This summer, we were fortunate to discover so many cool aspects of this relatively small, high elevation mountain town. It's only 30 minutes north of Mammoth Lakes, and 30 minutes south of Bridgeport, making it a worthwhile stop as you explore along the scenic Hwy 395.
Why You Need to Visit Bridgeport, California

So when we decided to transition from van life to Airstream living, we felt the best basecamp to get grounded and explore from what this charming small town in the Eastern Sierras.
Why We Love Homeschool Spanish Academy
Being able to speak and understand Spanish has been a family goal of ours since our first trip to Baja California, Mexico two years ago. We had tried a couple other online homeschool platforms, but many of these were in group learning sessions, or didn’t progress rapidly enough for our little learners. So when Homeschool Spanish Academy reached out and asked if we wanted to try some one-on-one lessons with a native speaker for our boys, we jumped at the opportunity!
