Never Say Someday Fulltime Travel
Full-Time Travel

It’s Our 1-Year Nomadiversary!

It’s hard to believe that it’s already been a whole year of our Great Big Adventure! ?? Not so long ago, Steven was working every evening and weekend to convert our 12-passenger Sprinter van into a home on wheels. I quit my job, and became focused on selling and donating a majority of our belongings while our house was on the market. The day we left our hometown, we had people coming to pick up our beds! Our home sold a week after we hit the road. ? Here’s a bit more about our “why” for choosing full-time travel.

That first day, we set off for Paso Robles. From there we explored San Luis Obispo County, Santa Cruz, Solvang, Sedona, Great Basin National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Crater Lake National Park, Kings Canyon & Sequoia National Parks, Disneyland, Joshua Tree National Park, all of Baja California Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, Utah (including Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park and Capitol Reef National Park) and Colorado (including Mesa Verde National Park and Rocky Mountain National Park). We even made it back home six times to visit family and friends. It’s been an incredible journey!

Steven and I always said we’ll hit the one-year mark and then decide what to do from there. I think it’s safe to say we’re not done yet! There are so many more places we want to see. How long we’ll go on is still up in the air, but we’re exploring ways to extend our travels into next year. ??

We’ve learned so much along this adventure, but the biggest takeaway? Take the leap of faith. Take the risk. You’ll never know what you’re capable of unless you try… whatever that may be. Living tiny in a van isn’t for everyone, but we hope that we’ve inspired you to follow your dreams! You won’t regret it. ?

Thank you all of you for joining us on this wild ride! Where should we go next???
